Slow cooker favorite: Pot Roast

🄘 Ingredients

3 lb beef chuck roast 1 lb carrots, cut in chunks 1.5 lbs potatoes, quartered 2 onions, quartered 3 cups beef broth 3 cloves garlic Bay leaves, thyme, rosemary

🄩 Step 1: Season roast Season chuck roast generously with salt and pepper on all sides. šŸ”„ Step 2: Sear meat (optional) For extra flavor, sear roast in hot pan 2 minutes per side until browned. šŸ„• Step 3: Prep vegetables Cut carrots into 2-inch chunks. Quarter potatoes and onions. šŸ«• Step 4: Layer in crock pot Place vegetables in bottom of crock pot. Top with roast. šŸ§„ Step 5: Add aromatics Add garlic cloves, bay leaves, thyme, and rosemary. 🄣 Step 6: Pour broth Pour beef broth over everything until roast is mostly covered. šŸ”„ Step 7: Set and forget Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 5 hours. ā²ļø Step 8: Check doneness Meat should be fall-apart tender when done. šŸ½ļø Step 9: Serve Shred meat if desired. Serve with vegetables and gravy from pot!
