Slow cooker favorite: Beef Stew

🄘 Ingredients

2 lbs beef stew meat 4 carrots, cut in chunks 3 potatoes, cubed 2 celery stalks, chopped 1 onion, diced 3 cups beef broth 2 tbsp tomato paste Flour, Worcestershire sauce

🄩 Step 1: Season and flour beef Toss beef cubes with flour, salt, and pepper until coated. šŸ”„ Step 2: Brown beef (optional) Brown beef in hot skillet for richer flavor, or skip to save time. šŸ„• Step 3: Prep vegetables Cut carrots into chunks, cube potatoes, chop celery and onion. šŸ«• Step 4: Layer in crock pot Place vegetables in crock pot. Top with beef. 🄣 Step 5: Mix broth mixture Whisk together beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. šŸ’§ Step 6: Pour over everything Pour broth mixture over meat and vegetables. šŸ”„ Step 7: Cook low and slow Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours until beef is tender. ā²ļø Step 8: Check consistency If stew is too thin, mix 2 tbsp flour with water and stir in. Cook 30 more minutes. šŸ½ļø Step 9: Serve Serve hot in bowls with crusty bread for dipping!
