8 slices bread 8 slices cheddar cheese 8 slices American cheese 4 tbsp butter, softened Optional: tomato slices

🧈 Step 1: Butter bread Butter one side of each bread slice generously. šŸ§€ Step 2: Layer cheese Place 2 slices cheddar and 2 slices American cheese on unbuttered side of 4 bread slices. 🄪 Step 3: Close sandwiches Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out. šŸ”„ Step 4: Heat pan Heat large skillet or griddle over medium heat. šŸž Step 5: Cook first side Place sandwiches in pan. Cook 3-4 minutes until golden brown. ā†©ļø Step 6: Flip Carefully flip sandwiches. Cook another 3-4 minutes. šŸ§€ Step 7: Check for melting Press gently with spatula. Cheese should be fully melted. ā²ļø Step 8: Remove from heat When both sides are golden and cheese is gooey, remove from pan. šŸ½ļø Step 9: Cut and serve Cut diagonally and serve hot with tomato soup!
